The Curtin University Boat Club started their 50th Anniversary with a bang! hosting a successful community BBQ for the New Year's Day fireworks.

Hundreds of people turned out to view the fireworks, sharing an afternoon on the foreshore with their families. The CUBC cooked up a community sausage sizzle for over 300 people, and gave out special 50th birthday cupcakes to the kids. Old and young alike look the chance to view the rowing shed, the boats and our trophies and memorabilia.
